Adam Walton visits the first TeenTech event to be held in Wrexham. The UK wide industry backed initiative showcases science, engineering and technology to young students from high schools, with the aim of helping them make informed choices in their future careers. TV science presenter Maggie Philbin joins the programme to discuss the importance of inspiring young minds and the benefits of companies forming closer links with schools.

At the Wrexham event, held at Glyndwr University campus, students from 28听high schools across North Wales and Cheshire took part in dozens of short hands-on workshops to get a taste of everything from designing aircraft wings to听the many parts of听a car engine.听
