Episode 8
Mark Beaumont reports on the Queen's baton relay's route through the Commonwealth as it begins its journey within the British Isles.
As the Queen's Baton Relay begins its journey through the British Isles, Mark Beaumont brings more stories from the baton's route through the Commonwealth. In this programme the baton completes its trip through the Caribbean, on to Canada, then crossing the Atlantic to Cyprus, Malta and Gibraltar, before its welcome back to the British Isles in Jersey.
Mark will meet people like D'Arcy Rahming, the driving force behind Judo in the Bahamas and whose own children are preparing
to compete at this summer's games. He will also meet some of the players from the joint lowest ranking international football team in the world, the Turks and Caicos Islands, and hears of their coach's plans for a football 'revolution' on the islands.
There will also be highlights from the baton's arrival in Jersey and a look and a look back at the momentous images and moments from the baton's international journey.
