Janice talks to Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbot about their new album What Have We Become, plus she hears about the Festival of Museums from curator Joanne Orr and Serena Fredrick.
Today it's part three of our monthly mini-series 'Artists at War' with Anne Ellis. Last month we discussed William Lamb and in March it was Sir John Lavery. Today we discuss one of the great Scottish Colourists FCB Cadell.
After leaving one of the most successful UK bands of the nineties The Beautiful South, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott reunite and tell us about their new album 'What Have We Become' which marks the 20th anniversary of Paul and Jacqui's first album together.
Festival of Museums is an annual three day event which takes place in museums, galleries and other venues throughout Scotland. We talk to curator Joanne Orr who tells us more about what's in store.
And as part of the Festival of Museums we look at St Cecilia's Hall the oldest purpose-built concert hall in Scotland and one of the major venues for the festival. Serena Frederick from Edinburgh University talks about transforming St Cecilia's Hall into its 1940s ballroom setting for a series of events exploring and celebrating 1940's culture.
Our Commonwealth Poetry Postcard this week comes from Cyprus.
