Gallon Drunk

Gallon Drunk join Marc in the studio for a live session, plus every track played will be a new release to mark the launch of 6 Music Recommends.

To mark the launch of 6 Music Recommends, on 6 Music today from 10am to 10pm every single track played will be a new release - that's anything that has been released since the start of 2014.

6 Music Recommends is new strand running every Tuesday to Friday, midnight to 1am, in which Lauren Laverne, Tom Ravenscroft, Mary Anne Hobbs and Steve Lamacq each broadcast an hour of the most interesting and exciting new releases and share their new music tips.

Plus, legends Gallon Drunk are in the studio with us tonight for a live session. The new album The Soul of The Hour is a cracker.

The band formed in London in 1988 and has 8 studio albums - now that's something to get your teeth into.

The band is James Johnston - vocals, guitar, keyboards, Terry Edwards - saxophone, keyboards, guitar, Ian White - drums and new boy Leo Kurunis - bass guitar.
