Belfast City Council have been granted powers to confiscate and destroy substances they believe to be so-called 'legal highs'. It comes after a 'forfeiture order' was granted against the owner of a headshop at Belfast Magistrates Court.
Belfast council have now removed substances from Belfast 'headshops' and the shops no longer sell the legal highs. Should other councils follow suit? Should there be a national push to combat the selling of legal highs?
