Formed in 1976 at the vanguard of the British punk movement, The Clash would soon become one of the most iconic rock bands of their era. A symbol of intelligent protest and stylish rebellion in the turbulent years of the late Seventies and early Eighties.

Just as importantly, they were to become unflinching musical pioneers, integrating reggae, dub, funk, jazz and hip-hop into their music. The band split in 1986 leaving behind an extraordinary recorded legacy.
