A motor biking accident left Stan Baum fighting for his life. Miraculously he's now on the road to recovery, but wife Andrea believes moving to Australia could help that process and offer the couple a better future.
The properties they see in Brisbane seem to offer the lifestyle the couple are desperate for. But emigrating to Australia would mean leaving behind the friends and family who helped them through incredibly tough times. So when faced with a truly life changing decision, will Andrea and Stan choose to move to the other side of the world, or stay in the UK?

Baum family update
After voting for Australia, Andrea immediately started looking for work in Brisbane but to no avail.聽 Determined not to give up on their dream, she secured a job offer in Melbourne after returning home.聽 December 2013 saw Stan continuing to add to his IT skills and having passed his teacher training, he is actively pursuing work in Australia.聽 The couple plan on making the move in the 2014.
