Gemma Randle is desperate to spend more time with her family. On a trial week in Australia she is wowed by houses and opportunities, but can she bear to leave her parents behind?

A hectic lifestyle in the West Midlands and long working hours means Gemma and Chris Randle are desperate to spend more time together with their children Maddie and Oliver. Beautician Gemma and PE teacher Chris believe Australia could offer the family the life they are dreaming of.

During their week in Adelaide, Gemma is blown away by Australian properties but she is torn between becoming the parent she dreams of and leaving her own parents in the UK. So will the family choose to move halfway around the world or stay at home?

Thinking about what鈥檚 best for their young children, Gemma and Chris reassessed their plans to emigrate after returning to the UK.聽 Although it鈥檚 taken some time to come to a decision, as of December 2013 Gemma and Chris have decided to stay close to their family support network in the UK.聽 Nevertheless, Chris is still in touch with the head teacher he met in Adelaide and they hope to pursue a move once Maddie and Oliver are slightly older.聽
