Tom is joined by American singer John Grant and talks in depth about his life, his sexuality, his love of language and his solo career to date.
He was the frontman of Denver 6 piece The Czars, who released 6 albums between 1994 and 2004. After the split of the band, he took off from music until the release of his highly acclaimed debut solo album Queen of Denmark in 2010, which he recorded with Midlake. He spent time in Iceland learning the language whilst working on his 2nd album with Biggi Veira of Icelandic electronic music pioneers Gus Gus. The result, Pale Green Ghosts, was released in March this year.
