Horsemeat, Farming for Nature and the Wildlife Signal Box

came under the spotlight this week as the RSPCA called for a reinstatement of a National Database. The call follows on fromrecent suggestion that horse welfare could be improved by putting horsemeat on sale in UK supermarkets. We ask customers in a butchers in Rhayader ..... The future of farming hangs in the balance - a unique coalition of farming and conservation organisations call for more action and support. Rachael Garside visits a farm in the Elan valley where their achievements in looking after wildlife and the environment while running a productive hill farm are evident.
