We were talking about poverty on the programme earlier this week, and people finding it very difficult to make ends meet.听 For some - they face the impossible decision of heat or eat. James contacted the show on Tuesday. He is on benefits and found himself in the situation where he had little food, no heat, and his electricity was about to cut out.听
Van Morrison Concert
Were you one of the lucky ones who got tickets to Van Morrison's freedom of Belfast gig at the Waterfront Hall tomorrow night? There was a huge outcry when it was revealed that the Belfast rate payers could only apply for two tickets while Belfast councillors were given four. It has now been revealed that Van Morrison's band is being paid 拢36,000 for the free concert.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
