A Vintage Year For Welsh Wine

This year's harvest of grapes has produced a bumper crop - good news hopefully for the 17 vineyards across Wales. Welsh wine is making a name for itself both home and abroad and to celebrate it's success a new has been set up aiming to promote the wine industry of Wales.

Rachael Garside visits two vineyards in Monmouth to discover the trials and tribulations of growing vines in Wales, while Huw Jenkins joins in the harvest in the Nantlle valley. It's then off to find out the winners at the inaugural Welsh Vineyard Association annual competition at Llanerch Vineyard in the Vale of Glamorgan.
