Adam Fould adapts his own poem about a white family caught up in the Mau Mau time in 1950s Kenya. Tom comes home for his last holiday before university and is recruited by the English colonial vigilantes and finds himself acquiring an unexpected taste for blood. Narrated by Anton Lesser with Gunnar Cauthery, Hattie Morahan, Gemma Lawrence, Pippa Haywood, Kenneth Cranham, David Collins, John Mackay, David Birrell, Mark Meadows, Ivanno Jeremiah and Fiston Barek.
