Janice Forsyth talks to filmmaker Mark Cousins, discovers the culture of Ancient Greece with classicist Michael Scott, and gets rapping in a Glaswegian accent with Loki.

Director Mark Cousins tells Janice about his essay in film form A Story of Children and Film

Singer Zoe Bestel has been combining studying for her standard grades with going on tour with her trusty ukulele. She and her mum talk to Janice about her career in music so far.

Polly Courtney is a former banker who took up writing when she left the City. Her latest book, Feral Youth, was inspired by the London riots of 2011, after she wondered why the voices and frustrations of young people were going so unheard. Glasgow rapper Loki is also keen to speak out for disadvantaged youngsters - although his new album also tackles more personal demons.

Dr Michael Scott is the latest academic to stride purposefully onto our TV screens. His new series Who Were the Greeks shows us the lives of the people who gave us democracy, architecture, philosophy, literature and sport.
