Janice meets guerrilla opera singers and comedian Richard Herring, plus she talks to actress Madalena Alberto about her portrayal of the enigmatic first lady of Argentina, Evita.

Some Other Mother, a new play written as part of the run-up to Refugee Week Scotland by hot talent A J Taudevin, opens at the Traverse tomorrow night. Playwright and actress Pauline Knowles join Janice in the Culture Studio.

Scottish artist Calum Colvin's new exhibition opens tomorrow. Burnsiana brings together photography, painting and sculpture in this collection of work formed over a decade and it takes place at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway, Ayrshire.

Love in a...., a series of guerrilla opera performances will be popping-up in to various public spaces around Edinburgh, as part of the Festival's year round public engagement programme. It all kicked off this week so singers Emma Morwood and Chris Elliot tell Janice more.

Bad Language is a new quiz show testing linguistic knowledge. Host Richard Herring and special guest Susan Calman will be checking Janice's grasp of the common colloquialisms and dialects of oor land.

The current UK touring production of Evita is on at The Kings in Glasgow. Madalena Alberto - the actress following in a long line of famous footsteps, tells Janice about her version of the enigmatic First Lady of Argentina.
