This week the American R&B singer Jocelyn Brown picks her favourite songs from a decade in which she began her career as a backing singer for artists including Musique, Inner Life and Chic. Later chart success included Always There with Incognito and Somebody Else's Guy, while her voice was sampled for Snap's 1990 chart-topper The Power.

Also on the show, the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977 will be celebrated with audio from the archive, and another classic 7" single will be loaded into Johnnie's Jukebox.
