The Scottish writer Irvine Welsh joins Lauren to talk about his book Skagboys and the film adaptation of his 1998 novel Filth which stars James McAvoy, Eddie Marsan and Jim Broadbent. Irvine wrote Trainspotting; his first novel in 1993 which went on to become a critically acclaimed film starring Ewan McGregor.

Lauren sets the theme to this week's Peoples Playlist; half an hour of brilliant tunes chosen by you that gets played out each Thursday.
