The Funny Women Awards have been running since 2003, and every year, more and more talented ladies get involved, proving that comedy is no longer just a man's game. The event has been the launch pad for many big names in the business including Katherine Ryan, Zoe Lyons, Susan Calman and Sarah Millican.

Funny Women's executive producer Lynne Parker and former contender, comedian and current Britain's Got Talent contestant Anna Devitt share their experiences of forging a career in comedy ahead of the Glasgow heats of the competition.

Director Nicholas Bone and actress Emily Winter talk about staging the late Tom McGrath's Kora at Dundee Rep, about the social issues involved, and about meeting a woman called 'Coralie', who turned out to be the real 'Kora', upon whom Tom based his strong female community activist progtagonist.

Scottish actor James Cosmo has had a long career in films like Braveheart and Highlander; he's currently starring in the huge American hit fantasy series Game of Thrones.
