The UK Border Force says that online sales have boosted the trade in products made from endangered animals. The increase is being linked to an upsurge in the poaching of rare animals. Are parents ever justified in taking their children out of school, so they can go on holiday? The trip might be a valuable opportunity for the child, but shouldn't their education come first? New research throws light on claims that shale gas extraction through so-called "fracking" causes earth tremors. Road congestion is becoming an international problem, made worse by rising car ownership in the developing world.
