Best Birthday's Ever

Dulcie in Aberdeenshire called to say last Thursday was her 60th and she spent it in Vienna. During dinner the waiter brought out a sachertorte with a firework coming out the top, her husband then took her to the opera to see Aida. Lovely.Ìý

Best birthday was my wee brother's 21st. My brother has brain damage and is mentally handicapped. The DJ said he had a few words for everyone there - but my brother's not good at that, so he turned to me and asked what to say. I said a few words to him and heÌýrepeated whatÌýI said. Not a dry eye in the house...made me very proud he turned to me. Stevie in LinwoodÌýÌýÌý

It was my 50th birthday and I was preparing a large buffet we had booked at a hotel in Yeovil. The owner came into the kitchen to tell me my wife had called to ask when I was going to be home as it was my birthday, he gave me a bit of a hard time for working on my birthday and not telling anyone it was my 50th. I went home and left my sous chef to finish the job. Later my wife suggested we pop out for a drink to celebrate and we called in to the hotel where I was chef. There was loud shouting and party poppers and streamers as we walked in to enjoy the surprise party and buffet that I HAD PREPARED. Great party always to be remembered. - Neil from MoffatÌýÌý

Same sex birthday parties? Huh! Just wait until they turn 15. Then it's back to mixed gender parties!! Party bags? When they turn 16 best to add a little "extra" something in the bag instead of a multi coloured balloon!! I have teenage boys. I speak from experience!!ÌýÌý
