Craig's guest is Motown songwriter and performer Leon Ware, who has written for Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Quincy Jones, The Jackson 5 and Donny Hathaway.

Leon Ware the legendary Motown songwriter and performer is Craig's guest. He's written for Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Quincy Jones, The Jackson 5 and Donny Hathaway to name just a few so it doesn't get much bigger. He was there living the dream and creating the history of black American music. He's also had hits in his own right releasing nine solo albums from the 70's through to noughties. Craig digs into Ware's past, talking the highs and lows of his career. And a listener will present their 3 favourite funky souly tunes in Spiange A Trois and the history lesson continues in The A-Z of Funk. At 8pm Mr Charles will Unleash The Trunk of Funk as he gives you back to back, wall to wall floor fillers, so get ready to 'get ready'.
