Since it first opened its doors in 1956, the Capitol Tower with its distinctive stack of records design has become a physical landmark on the LA skyline as well as a symbol for all that is best in music. Perhaps more than any other genre the Capitol Tower has become synonymous with swinging big band sounds as demonstrated by the greats featured on tonight's show.
