With director Judd Apatow

Shaun talks to filmmaker Judd Apatow about his new comedy This Is 40, a sequel to his film Knocked Up which follows up on the characters after several years have passed.

Shaun talks to the hugely creative Judd Apatow, about his new comedy 'This Is 40' - a look at the lives of Pete and Debbie a few years after the events of 'Knocked Up'.

Judd is the King of American comedy, as far as we're concerned. The founder of Apatow Productions, he developed the cult television series Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared and most recently HBO's Girls. His work has won numerous awards including a Primetime Emmy Award (for The Ben Stiller Show) a Hollywood Comedy Award, and an AFI Award for his hit movie Bridesmaids.

Apatow's work has also been nominated for Grammy Awards, Golden Globe Awards and Academy Awards (for Bridesmaids). And In October 2012, Vanity Fair magazine announced that Apatow would be guest-editing their comedy Issue, the first person to ever do so.

The Breakfast Show team love him most for producing one of our favourite comedy films 'Anchor Man - The Legend Of Ron Burgundy'. We'd go as far as saying we love Apatow as much as dim-witted weatherman Brick Tamlin "loves lamp". Let's just hope Keaveny stays classy!

Plus Shaun expels another wriggly Earworm track, plays a killer Touch Me In The Morning track, and there's up-to-the minute music news courtesy of news horse (and former Menswear drummer) Matt Everitt.
