Growing up with dyslexia can be difficult and frustrating - you can be accused of being stupid and feel embarrassed around brothers and sisters and your classmates. In this film 12-year-old presenter Ben, who has dyslexia himself, explores what it means to be dyslexic.

It's thought that one in every ten people is affected by the condition but many of us don't really know what it is. Ben investigates how dyslexia affects the brain, by becoming a guinea pig and undergoing scientific tests at Oxford University. He finds out that the kind of dyslexia he has mainly affects his visual memory. Ben meets two other dyslexic children, Zach and Khalaya. They describe how dyslexia affects them and talk frankly and poignantly about the frustrations of struggling at school and being misunderstood. Ben's journey culminates in an interview with C成人快手 star Dom Wood, one half of the Dick and Dom duo who he meets on the set of the latest Dick and Dom production. Dom talks movingly about how he has managed to overcome his dyslexia to learn scripts and work as a hugely successful TV presenter.

The film shows how the experience of dyslexia can differ from one child to another and most importantly, how it doesn't have to be a barrier to success.
