Huntly's chef in residence Simon Preston talks about The Town Is The Menu, a brand new food project which aims to capture the town's unique personality in a range of signature dishes. By tapping into the history, traditions, culture and personality of the town Simon has created a menu which is both of the town and for the town.

Spice wars, so precious it caused wars, world food expert Ghillie Basan talks about the remarkable history of nutmeg and mace in this month's Spice Cupboard.

Joanna Zawadzka, co-ordinator of the Polish Food & Culture Festival, talks about the culinary delights and cultural events that will soon be taking place in Edinburgh and Pennie cooks some traditional Polish apple cake alongside Adam Tomczuk from the Inverness Polish Association
