It's been a devastating week for people living in the flooded areas in Denbighshire and Conwy County. Tributes have been paid to the emergency services and volunteers who have been working hard to help flood victims forced to escape their homes since the rain reeked havoc upon the local community. Rain swamped farmland and caused chaos for hundreds of rural businesses. We speak to a local farmer about the floods.

The hottest ticket in town for Mountain Bike trails? Earlier this year, a four million pound project was launched aimed at attracting more people to Merionnydd as a destination for outdoor activities. The is providing funds to develop mountain biking in Coed y Brenin, near Dolgellau, fishing on lake Trawsfynydd and to the Urdd's Glan Llyn site in Bala. Over a million pounds has also been invested in creating a series of downhill mountain bike trails on the hills above Blaenau Ffestiniog - a town which has, until now, largely missed out as a tourist destination.

Felt maker Helen Melvin, creates landscape wall hangings, stoles and scarves, amongst other things, in her studio at Aberwheeler near Bodfari; and nearly all the dyes she uses, she makes herself.
