As part of the 成人快手's 90th birthday celebrations, Simon Mayo unveils the results of The Listeners' Archive project, which sought to recover lost gems of the broadcasting archive.

Across the UK, listeners were asked to scour their lofts, garages and cupboards for tapes, cassettes and other recordings of 成人快手 radio programmes from 1936 to 2000. And discoveries were handed in at 成人快手 Centres around the UK on 'Amnesty Day' in mid October.

Since then, a team of engineers have been restoring these programmes to their former glory, at the 成人快手's historic Maida Vale studios. Simon speaks to the listeners who preserved clips of 成人快手 programmes to find out why they kept them and introduces clips of the programmes that had been lost.
