We put the kettle on for one of Northern Ireland's finest offerings in the acting world, James Nesbitt, who joins us for Breakfast to tell us about his new ITV drama, 'Monroe'.

James shot to sitcom superstardom in the hit TV show Cold Feet, which won him a British Comedy Award, a Television and Radio Industries Club Award, and a National Television Award. Nesbitt also starred in Murphy's Law in a role that twice gained him Best Actor nominations at the Irish Film & Television Awards.

Before making his big break in television, James dropped out of the University of Ulster to follow his dreams of becoming an actor, but later became the University's Chancellor!

James is married to former actress Sonia Forbes-Adam, and they have two daughters. He is an advocate of numerous charities, and is a fan of football teams Coleraine and Manchester United.

We're looking forward to getting to know James a little better when he comes in, as long as he doesn't get cold feet...
