Anders Breivik trial reaction

Discussion and debate on the big issues affecting British Asians. Nihal asks whether the trial of Anders Breivik shows that right wing extremism is a genuine problem.

Has the trial of Anders Breivik shown that right wing extremism is a genuine problem?

Earlier this morning a Norwegian court found Breivik to be sane and sentenced him to 21 years to prison. He admitted killing 77 people and wounding more than 240 others when he bombed central Oslo and then opened fire at an island youth camp last year. Through out the trial he refused to plead guilty saying that his attacks were justified to stop the "Islamisation" of Norway. Many had hoped he would be found insane so as to lessen the impact his anti immigration rants would have. There are also fears now that he'll write a book about his beliefs and will attempt to justify what he's done.

Are you worried that with the publicity his trial has been given and the fact that he's been found sane his writings will now be given more credence? Is it likely that he'll become some sort of poster boy for white extremists? He argued that the Norwegian government had destroyed the country by encouraging immigration - are these views you've heard before, even here in the UK?

After 2, former model, Muslim revert and now author Karimah Bint Dawoud talks about her cookery book 'Heavenly Bites - The Best of Muslim 成人快手 Cooking'.

What are your favourite home cooked meals? If there is one dish you could not go without what would it be?
