As part of the 成人快手's Punk Britannia season Tom chats to Pauline Murray, lead singer with the County Durham punk band Penetration.

The band took their name from an Iggy And The Stooges song, played their first gig in 1976, and early in their career supported The Damned, Generation X, the Vibrators and the Buzzcocks. Their debut single, Don't Dictate, is still regarded as a punk rock classic, and their debut album Moving Targets is still held in high regard.

A disappointing reaction to their second album, 1979's Coming Up For Air, was instrumental in the demise of the original band. Pauline worked sporadically as a solo artist under the name Pauline Murray and The Storm.
The band reformed in 2001 and are still active today.
