Stephen Duffy presents a show curated by crime writer and jazz fan Ian Rankin, whose selections include tracks from John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis and Art Pepper.
Stephen Duffy welcomes a very special guest to the studio, crime novelist and jazz fanatic Ian Rankin. Stephen delves into Ian's musical background from his early days at college to the present day. Ian also discusses how his own tastes influenced his most famous character Detective Inspector John Rebus.
It's an eclectic mix with classics from John Coltrane and Thelonious Monk to Scottish artist Brian Kellock and Tommy Smith.
