As part of the 成人快手s Punk Britannia season, Tom is joined by punk pioneer TV Smith, former frontman and songwriter with The Adverts, arguably one of the punk movements most consistent standard bearers over the last 35 years.

He rose to prominence with his band The Adverts, which he formed in 1976. They signed to Stiff records and in 1977 reached the top 20 with their single 'Gary Gilmour's Eyes'. They released their debut album 'Crossing The Red Sea' the following year, which has been acclaimed as a defining punk album. The band failed to live up to their initial success and split in 1979. TV Smith went on to form TV Smith's Explorers, then Cheap, and from the early 90s he's been a solo artist. He has recentlty released an EP 'Dangerous Playground' of tracks he's written for a new German play called 'The Cold Kiss Of Warm Beer'.
