Should English be your first language if you were born in the UK?

An article in the Daily Mail focuses on several schools where almost all the pupils speak English as an additional language. The Ofsted report for one of the schools states that children speak little or no english when they arrive. Does that surprise you? Do you think children should be taught their mother tongue before English? What experience did you have? Are you holding your child back by teaching them Punjabi, Urdu or Gujarati before English?

After 2 Ruchir Sharma the Author of Breakout Nations: In Pursuit of the Next Economic Miracles joins Naresh. The book looks at which countries are likely to do well and which aren't and asks where the next economic miracle's going to come from.

Lastly, Should we stop complaining about long immigration queues?

The immigration minister, Damian Green, has admitted there is a problem with queues at Heathrow Airport's passport control. Mr Green said delays of 90 minutes were "too long", and that he could see why people who had to wait that long were "annoyed". Do you complain about the queues? Speak to Naresh about your experience with airport immigration controls.
