Nicolas Jaar takes to the Essential Mix decks. Jaar is a 22 year old Ivy League student from New York. He actually graduates in May!

Nicolas made his recording debut aged 17 with the appropriately titled ‘Student EP’ on Wolf & Lamb. He runs his own label called Clown & Sunset. And he came up with one of the best albums of 2011, 'Space Is the Only Noise'.

He put out a Clown & Sunset label showcase EP in March, which was released as an aluminum cube called 'The Prism'.
