Are Sikhs being over sensitive about Jay Leno's comments?

The US talk show host had initially angered Sikhs by showing the Golden Temple of Amritsar as the summer home of Republican candidate Mitt Romney. Mr. Romney's faced questions over his wealth and a lot of Sikhs are angry the temple has been depicted as a place for the rich.

Now an Indian minster has joined the debate by adding his criticism of Leno whilst a US spokeswoman has defended him saying the US Constitution strictly protects freedom of speech.

But does this strike you as a badly researched joke? Should sketch writers be more considerate when turning their sights on religious figures and places of worship? Should Leno apologise for causing offence? Or is it time religious people stopped getting so easily offended? Should they grow a thicker skin and accept everyone is fair game when it comes to comedy?

At 2 PM Actors Raj Ghatak and Kulvinder Ghir chat about their new film 'Naachle London'.
