Including the percussive delights of Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton and Terry Gibbs as well as a tribute to composer and valve trombonist Bob Brookmeyer who passed away in December aged 81. This includes his composition Just Plain Meyer and recordings he made with Lalo Schifrin and trumpeter Clark Terry.
