Carol singing, nativity plays and christmas parties are in full swing at the moment. The trees are up and the fairy lights are on, but if you're not christian are you sending out the wrong message to your kids by making a big deal out of christmas?
Or if you do celebrate this time of year, do you know exactly why you're doing it? As a Muslim, Hindu or Sikh, do you think that Christians themselves no longer value the true meaning of Christmas? Is it important for your child to understand the meaning of Christmas? Or do you feel that you'd much rather keep your child at home over the festive period and teach them about your religion?
