The Bible in Session

Original members of 'The Bible' join Bob tonight to play live, celebrate their 25th anniversary and discuss reunion concerts and the re-release of their debut album.

The Bible formed in the mid eighties around singer Boo Hewerdine, and keyboard/percussion player Tony Shepherd. They released their debut album Walking the Ghost Back 成人快手 in 1986 on an independent record label and enjoyed a top-ten hit on the UK Independent chart, staying in the chart for ten weeks.

This was followed by the first release of 'Graceland' as a single, which gave them a hit in the UK. In January 1988, the band's second album, 'Eureka', was released with single 'Honey Be Good' giving them another hit in 1989.

Soon afterwards the band dissolved and the members moved onto other music projects. Despite briefly reforming in late 1993/94, solo projects took precedent and the reunion was short-lived.

25 years on from their first beginnings, new material is once again on the way and the original members Boo Hewerdine, Tony Shepherd and Neill MacColl join Bob tonight to play live and talk about two very special anniversary concerts in Glasgow and London and the release of an extended and re-mastered edition of their debut album.
