Pianist Gwilym Simcock won both the 成人快手 Jazz and British Jazz Awards in 2005, and was the first jazz musician to become a 成人快手 Radio 3 New Generation Artist. Now up for the Mercury Prize for his album Good Days at Schloss Elmau, he explains why titles are so important, using the piano as a percussion instrument, and why football is the perfect antidote to music.
