In Order of Preference

By Hugh Costello. As polling day arrives, and as the fault lines are exposed in the coalition's facade of unity, Sophie's passion for change begins to afflict her marriage to Paul.

By Hugh Costello. Paul Weeks is a "NO" man - he thinks AV is expensive and flawed and not the British way. In the week of Bin Laden's killing, he finds the AV referendum an embarrassing sideshow. But his wife, Sophie, has been actively campaigning for a YES vote, with a vigour that has surprised Paul. Now, as polling day arrives, and as the fault lines are exposed in the coalition's fa莽ade of unity, Paul and Sophie's marriage also starts to unravel. Does Sophie's passion for change have as much to do with their relationship as with electoral reform..?
