Sharmini Selvarajah reports on how universities are stepping up their efforts to raise money from alumni.
Universities are employing existing students to call former students to try and increase alumni donations. While Cambridge has become the first University outside north America to raise more than a 拢1 billion in philanthropic gifts, some of the younger, less prestigous institutions are trying to raise funds from similar sources.
