We hear about the new dance adaptation of Lord of the Flies, discuss why reality TV 'observational documentaries' are so popular, and look at why we love the circus.

Matthew Bourne is a five-time Olivier Award winner and the only Brit to have won the Tony award for Best Choreographer and Best Director of a Musical. His company, New Adventures, are about to open at Glasgow's Kings Theatre with a dance adaptation of Lord of the Flies. But in addition to the professionals, the cast features young Glaswegian men with no previous experience of dance. We find out why they wanted to get involved and why they now think dance could be the career for them...

A new series - "Junior Doctors: Your Life in their Hands" - starts this week on 成人快手3. Following this team of newly-meds, the audience get a unique insight in to their life and work. But with more and more of these observational documentaries filling our screens, what is it we enjoy about them? Is it the curiosity of seeing another side of life? Or something more sinister? An experienced 'Obs Docs' producer and a TV culture expert will be sharing their thoughts.

Gerda Stevenson has been researching the working lives of escorts and prostitutes. It's culminated in a two-part radio drama to be broadcast soon on 成人快手 Radio Scotland. Gerda will be in the studio to tell us about her plays and to discuss whether the usual media portrayal of sex workers in the news or in shows like Belle du Jour is fair.

And, as the Moscow State Circus arrives in Glasgow, we hear about the shows and circus expert Professor Vanessa Toulmin will be telling us why they'll always have a place in our hearts.

Produced by Rich Preston.
