Radio 2 celebrates Roxy Music, hearing from key band members, showcasing the songs and reflecting on the Roxy legacy.

Evolving from the late-60s art-rock movement, Roxy Music epitomized fashion, glamour and innovative music. Through the decades the band released a string of ground-breaking albums, culminating with the classic 'Avalon'.

In Part 2 Jo Whiley explores how the band developed - recording some of the most sophisticated music of the 80鈥檚 - while still remaining credible in the era of punk rock, making a much loved John Lennon tribute, dipping their musical toes in Disco, being inducted into the Rock'n'Roll Hall Of Fame and reforming for their 40th and current 50th anniversary world tours. Jo also finds out what happened when they returned to the studio with Brian Eno in 2005 and asks if we will ever hear a new Roxy album.
