Maryhill Burgh Halls Restoration - We hear all about the work to restore one of Glasgow's most iconic buildings; stained glass windows are being designed for Maryhill Burgh Halls. A set of 20 depicting the trades and industries of Maryhill were part of the original structure and are being returned as part of the 拢9.2 million refurbishment. The trust behind the work wants to add to the collection by allowing residents to create new panels to sit with the originals through their 'Windows of Today project'.
Apollo's Angels: Jennifer Homans, author of Apollo's Angels: A History of Ballet. discusses her new book and explains how Ballet is a 'storytelling art' that has no written language; it is classical and modern, intellectual and emotional, athletic and cerebral, and, for many, the embodiment of joy in movement.
The Scottish National Portrait Gallery - Director, James Holloway discusses the on-going refurbishment in general and how it will change the way in which visitors make use of the gallery and observe what's on view.
