Scientist Nina and her young experimenters discover the amazing ways that things can change and react in our everyday world.
Nina investigates why grass stains people's shorts with the help of Luke, her sight neuron. Experimenters Sam, Scarlett and Leah visit Nina in her lab and use their senses find out what causes grass stains. They discover that the stains are green like grass and that they are difficult to get rid of.
Then they discover that all plants have colours called pigments, and visit a lady who uses pigments from plants to dye her wool beautiful colours. Back outside the lab, they do an experiment to see how stains get onto people's shorts and have fun proving that you have to rub hard on grass to get the pigment out.
