Should the Pope be given a state visit?

In a letter written by more than fifty public figures the head of the Catholic church has been criticised for a number of issues. They include the Church's record on child abuse, opposing contraception, denying abortion to even the most vulnerable women and speaking out against equal rights for gay people. Are the criticisms aimed at him ones that can be aimed at any of the world's major religions? And as a tax payer do you think you should be forking out for him to come over here?

After 2 - Are you worried about the way Asians are represented in the media? We'll be speaking to the new Head of Diversity at The Guardian Yasir Mirza.

And later in the hour - Are saris outdated? Do you happily wear them? Or is it far easier and less hassle to wear western clothes?
