Culled from a record collection of 250,000 titles, Desmond plays a broad mixture of all that is good about music-making in the 20th century (and a little from the 21st).
Each week Desmond rummages through the 78s, LPs, EPs, singles, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, tapes, DATs and mini-discs to come up with some good tunes, some unexpected ones and a few you may have never heard before. In part two, he takes on a theme and this week it's songs with a pastoral theme.
