Huey Morgan invites string and jug-band revivalists Carolina and The Chocolate Drops in for a chat, plus Mark Ronson shares and cares the inspirations behind his album Record Co.

Fun Lovin' Criminal Huey Morgan invites one of his new favourite bands in for a chat, Carolina and the Chocolate Drops, who are reclaiming the black string-band tradition with a uniquely modern twist.

He meets Dom Flemons, Rhiannon Giddens and Justin Robinson from North Carolina. From meetings at a Black Banjo Gathering the band received tuition from one of last living performers of the Piedmont string band heyday, 90 year old Joe Thompson. Their debut album not only features new compositions and traditional covers but also a surprising but barn-storming cover of Blu Cantrell's 'Hit 'Em Up Style'.

Also on the show, Huey's old NY pal Mark Ronson takes over the mantle of Sharing Is Caring, picking records from his huge personal collection that have influenced his appropriately titled new album Record Collection. Huey has another New York Minute with DJ Uncle Mike, dialing into the Big Apple to reminisce about a classic NY night club and he puts the needle on the record for a listener in 'Vinyl Fetish'.

All tied together by Huey's eclectic record selection from the likes of the Beastie Boys to Miles Davies via Toots and the Maytals, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Robert Johnson, Blondie and Led Zeppelin.
