成人快手 PROMS 2010
Live from the Royal Albert Hall, London
Presented by Martin Handley
Sir Andrew Davis returns to the 成人快手 Proms as Conductor Laureate of the 成人快手 Symphony Orchestra with a typically wide-ranging programme of music whose pairings reflect musical homages. 'Mozart always smiled; his music also smiled,' said Messiaen of Mozart - which explains the title of his Mozart tribute Un sourire. That prefaces one of Mozart's ebullient piano concertos, and the second half of the concert couples one of Brahms's greatest works with a tribute from one of his English admirers
