Aldo Clementi, Hans Abrahamsen

Ivan Hewett presents new music by composers who use canonic techniques: chamber works by Aldo Clementi played by Eision, and Schnee by Hans Abrahamsen played by London Sinfonietta.

Ivan Hewett discusses the ancient and modern technique of the musical canon with composer Christopher Fox, and introduces pieces by two composers using canonic procedures today.
